The English Friend Initiative is a 14-day volunteering program focused on teaching English to children and youth in schools and local communities. The program aims to enhance language skills, confidence, and communication abilities, helping young learners engage more effectively in education and everyday life.
Volunteers will work closely with school teachers, local youth, and community members to design and deliver interactive English lessons, games, and creative activities tailored to the age and skill level of the learners. The initiative also encourages cultural exchange, allowing volunteers to share experiences while learning about Sri Lankan traditions and lifestyles.
