6 Months Internship at Government or Private schools -Teaching German

The 6-Month German Teaching Internship offers a valuable opportunity to gain real classroom experience by teaching German in government and private schools in Sri Lanka’s North Central Province. Interns will work under the supervision of qualified local teachers, gaining insight into the country’s education system, language teaching methods, and classroom practices.

During the internship, participants will prepare lesson plans, develop German language teaching materials, apply effective classroom techniques, and assist in monitoring student progress. This hands-on experience enhances teaching, communication, and leadership skills while contributing to the foreign language education of rural students.

Interns will be picked up from the airport upon arrival, and shared accommodation along with three local meals per day will be provided throughout the program. Participants will teach 5–6 hours on weekdays, with weekends free for rest and cultural exploration. Lanka Volunteer Travel (LVT) will ensure safety, security, and daily transportation between accommodation and schools.

Upon successful completion of the internship, participants will receive a service letter recognizing their German teaching experience and contribution.
