March – Child and Community Development project

The Child and Community Development Project is a 14-day volunteering initiative designed to create lasting positive change in rural communities while giving participants hands-on experience in community development. This project will be implemented in collaboration with a local NGO, ensuring that the activities are sustainable and aligned with the real needs of the community.

During the program, volunteers will engage in a variety of activities such as organizing educational sessions for children, conducting awareness programs, improving community facilities, and supporting local development initiatives that enhance the quality of life for children and families.

Working side by side with community members and local youth, participants will gain real-world experience in project planning, implementation, and evaluation, as well as a deeper understanding of grassroots development work in Sri Lanka.
